The problem with breakages of any rod is that most people lift their rod tip too high , causing the upper half of the rod to fight against the drag of the reel.. the upper half or tip is to protect your line and knots.. against sudden surges of any fish.. fly-fishing guru, Therry Philips.. taught me never to lift the bend of a fly rod higher than your eye level so that the butt section can fight against the drag of the reel... If the butt section breaks then their is flaw in the rod.. so when you complain be specific... thanks . Beejay
Great great great Rod!
Have this one and another D-Blue, love them, light weight great guides!
Hi feel dumb here on the way you have your prices.
I am looking at your 308002b in the 3/0 and 4/0 sizes.
Is it $10.00 per pack of 30 pieces.??
If I wanted say 500 of one of them how much??
Or would it be better to buy 1000 for better price??
Shipping to zip 19520 In Pa
Thank you for your time Wayne Henderson
I bought this rod on e-bay about 5 years ago, best rod I ever bought.I have caught 32"-36" stripers with this rod and the action is amazing even the slightest nibble is felt.I sling mack chunks with this rod 50-75 yrds out off jetties. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because 2 of the eyelets cracked #16 and #20 and are rather cheap, carbide would be a big plus.
To the second comment, you are just ignorant and probably never owned a good rod, you never used this blank and you dismiss it just for the fact that it has multiple sections. Any good fly rod is for five or six sections and there is no problems with the ferrules it is just in your head
The gentleperson above needs a med change, never used the rod, but know it's no good.
I've used this blank series and so has Mark Crouse the Munich Man, one the the best builders on the planet, Google the dude.We don't buy, nor use junk.
Do you have sic k frame in gun metal?
